Depression
Depression is a common illness which means you feel very low or down. It can sometimes make a person feel so lacking in energy that it gets in the way of everyday life. It’s not just being unhappy for a short time; it is an extended unhappiness which you may not be able to identify a reason for. There are different ways to tackle depression, which include counselling, relaxation, exercise and medication from a doctor.

It can be difficult to recognise depression in ourselves or to accept that we may have it and to then ask for help. However tackling it alone can be harder still.
